image.net will be hosting MTV Europe Music Awards photographic and press release material from 7pm on Thursday 5 November. This will include 100 free stills from the MTV Europe Music Awards red carpet, show and backstage. These stills will be available for media to download, free of charge, for editorial use only from 7pm CET on Thursday 5 November.
In addition, pre-event EMA photography – and press releases - will be available from 3pm on Wednesday 4 November.
The MTV Europe Music Awards be broadcast live on MTV from the 02 World, Berlin at 9pm CET on Thursday 5 November.
The 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards will be hosted by Katy Perry and will feature performances by the Foo Fighters, Green Day, Jay-Z, Leona Lewis, Shakira and Tokio Hotel. U2 will be performing a short set to 10,000 fans at Berlin’s historic Brandenburg Gate which will be beamed into the prestigious Awards. Presenters include pop/rock phenomena Jonas Brothers alongside Asia Argento, Backstreet Boys, Bar Refaeli, Batista, Boris Becker, Brody Jenner, Jean Reno, Joss Stone, Juliette Lewis, Miranda Cosgrove and Pete Wentz.
